Give Back This Spring: Two Chances for Free Camping this spring at Lake Arrowhead

Spring is here, and at Lake Arrowhead Campground, we believe the best way to celebrate the season is by giving back to our community. This May, we're hosting two special weekends full of fun, time outside, and working together — and we'd love for you to join us!

Campground Clean-Up Weekend: April 24-26

Rake, Relax, and Camp FREE

Every spring, we shake off the winter and refresh our beautiful campground. This year, we're inviting YOU to be part of the magic — and we'll reward your hard work with free camping!

Here's How It Works:

•Camp for FREE if you help us rake leaves throughout the campground- we'll give you your assignment at the beginning of your stay, and you finish it on your schedule! It's a win-win: our campground gets spruced up, and you get a free camping adventure with your family.

•Enjoy a FREE breakfast Sunday morning with prize drawings for our hard-working rakers.

What to Bring:

We'll provide some rakes, but we'd deeply appreciate it if you could bring your own:

•Rakes

•Work gloves

•Tarps

Perfect for: Families looking for a low-cost camping weekend, volunteers who love the outdoors, and anyone wanting to make a tangible difference in a place they love.


Community Clean-Up Weekend: May 1-3

Help the community, Camp FREE, and Make a Real Impact

If you want to extend your service beyond our campground, our Community Clean-Up Weekend is calling your name. We're partnering with both the ADRC and our local food bank. You can choose between helping those in our community who need assistance cleaning up their yards and properties, or you can help prepare the community garden for planting fresh vegetables to help feed our community.

Here's What We're Offering:

•FREE camping for all volunteers

•A few hours of meaningful work Saturday morning helping neighbors in need

•FREE lunch Saturday afternoon

•Prize drawings for participants

•The Chilly Challenge — for the brave-hearted, a frosty dip in Lake Puckaway!

What to Bring:

We'll provide some rakes, but we'd deeply appreciate it if you could bring your own:

•Rakes

•Work gloves

•Tarps

•Pick-up trucks (if you have one)

Every tool and truck makes a difference in how much we can accomplish for our community.
