You can only have 1 camping trailer on a single site. A camping trailer is a pop-up, travel trailer, 5th wheel, motorhome, etc. But keep in mind you can add a tent with your trailer for no extra fee.

Depending on the size of your camping units, you may only be able to fit one car on the site. But we do have extra overflow parking available at no extra cost- just keep in mind you may have to walk a little ways to get to a car in overflow parking.

All of our cabins sleep 4 or more people and feature a bathroom with a shower and a well-equipped kitchen. We do not offer rustic or primitive cabins at this time.

  • Pets are wonderful, but not always easy on folks' allergies. We welcome pets in the our pet-friendly cabins only. These include Otter, Badger, Birch, Turtle, and Fox.

  • We provide kitchen utensils, but please bring along linens. Sheets, towels- and don't forget dishcloths! Sizes of beds vary in each cabin, so if you're not sure what size sheets to bring, give us a call. And if you forget your linens, we do have some sets we can rent to you.

  • For your culinary enjoyment, each cabin has a refrigerator, microwave, and stove. You can also cook alfresco with a firepit and grill, too.

  • We don't provide daily housekeeping- but we'll gladly show your teenagers where the mop and broom is kept.

  • Cabin check-in time is 3pm, and check-out is 10am to allow housekeeping time to prepare cabins between guests.

Fees
Image of a piggy bank reads, "Fees."

Do we need wristbands to use the pools or jumping pillow?

No! We do not charge extra for the fun amenities or activities. The main exceptions to this are if you want to rent something such as a golf cart, pedal cart, or boat, or if you want to do an activity that includes food or higher priced items, such as ice cream socials or ceramics. For more information, see our Amenities Page.

Do you charge a resort fee?

Nope!

What types of extra fees should I expect?

We're glad you asked! Nobody likes paying extra fees, so here at Lake Arrowhead, we don't do wristbands or hidden fees. We want you to know right from the beginning what your vacation will cost.

Included in your site rental at no extra cost:

  • Jumping pillow

  • Activities packed with Family Fun!

  • 2 Pools

  • Swimming Area on Lake Puckaway

  • Fishing Pond

  • Playground

  • Lighted Basketball Court

  • Lighted Volleyball Court

  • 4 adults

  • As many kids (under 18) as those 4 adults think they can handle

  • Overflow parking for extra vehicles

  • Boat Parking

  • Boat launch

  • Lagoon- keep your boat in the water in our lagoon as long as you are staying with us.

If you do encounter extra fees, it would be for services you would probably expect to pay for, such as:

  • If you have more than 4 adults overnight, you will need to rent an extra site.

  • If you have friends stop by for the day and there more than 4 adults total for your site, extra adults cost $6 per day.

  • Boat Rentals, Golf Cart Rentals, and Pedal Cart Rentals are available for an additional fee.

  • Arcade games require tokens that must be purchased

  • We do sometimes charge a small fee for activities that involve food or that involve high value products or services. Examples of these activities would be an ice cream social, chair massages, or waterproof shimmer tattoos.

  • Some events will have optional additions for which we charge a small fee. For example every kid can make one free craft at craft time, but must pay for additional crafts. Another example would be tie dye activities; if you bring your own clothing, the activity is free, but if you would like to purchase shirts from us, there's a small fee to cover the cost of the shirt.

Pets

Can I bring my pet?

Yes! We know pets want to take part in the family fun, too!

A few guidelines to keep in mind:

  • Keep pets leashed.

  • Pick up Pet Poop Promptly.

  • Don’t let Rover get lonely… don’t leave your pet unattended.

  • Please keep your pets outside of buildings and the pool fence.

  • Pets only allowed in Pet-Friendly Cabins. All other cabins are pet-free areas.

  • We know Rover likes to play too, but please don’t take him on the Jumping Pillow or playground equipment.

Pets are wonderful, but not always easy on folks' allergies. We welcome pets in the our pet-friendly cabins only. These include Otter, Badger, Birch, Turtle, Bluegill, and Fox.

Do you restrict dog breeds?

No. We do allow all breeds of dogs as long as the owners follow our pet guideline. Aggressive dogs are not allowed.

For more information, see our Policies & Guidelines Page.

Visitors
Image of a spaceship reads, "Visitors."

How many people can stay overnight on my site?

We allow 4 adults to spend the night on a single site, and as many children as you think you can handle. There are no extra fees for 4 adults and their children on a site. Group sites are allowed 4 adults per camping unit on the site.

Can I have friends come visit me who are not staying overnight?

Yes! Each single site can have a total of 4 adults on the site overnight without any extra fees. If you only have 2 adults on your site, your day visitors can count as the 3rd and 4th adults. If you already have 4 adults staying on your site, then your day visitors can just pay $6/ adult as a visiting fee. We don't charge for kids under 18 or vehicles, and if they need to use overflow parking because your site is full, we can help them find parking for no extra charge.

All visitors do need to stop at the store, so we can greet them, can register their vehicle, and make sure they know where to find you!

All extra-terrestrial visitors must get management approval before entering the park and will be approved on a case-by-case basis.

Can I bring my own Golf Cart?

Yes! Yes! In general we allow regular electric carts. We do often allow quiet gasoline carts for overnight reservations only if they are very quiet. For seasonals, all golf carts do need to be electric and need to be approved by us before they are purchased and brought in.

If you're bringing your own golf cart, it should have:

  • Headlights

  • Insurance

  • A licensed driver in the driver's seat (sorry kids- but you can always rent a pedal cart!)

  • Everyone firmly seated on their bum

Safety first, folks! Carts have to obey the 5 mph speed limit.

Seasonals should check with the management before bringing in or buying a golf cart.

Can I bring my atv, gator, or utv?

Mini bikes, ATVs, and any gas-powered vehicles that are not street legal aren’t allowed to be driven in the campground.

Can I bring my boat?

Yes! Lake Puckaway is on the Fox River chain and great for boating and fishing. Just keep in mind that we are on a sand bar here on the north shore, and we recommend that you trim your motor up really high for the first 100 yards out of the lagoon. If your motor doesn't trim up, you might have difficulty getting over the sand bar.

We have a privately-owned boat launch that is included in the site rental. You are also welcome to keep your boat in the water in our lagoon while your staying with us. For your convenience, we do sell gasoline up at our convenience store.

Lake Puckaway also has some fun areas for kayaking and canoeing, and you can often spot wildlife in some of the marshy areas of the lake. Feel free to ask our friendly staff for recommendations on where to explore! For more information on Lake Puckaway, visit our Lake Puckaway page.

All boaters are invited to stop up in the store for a complimentary map of Lake Puckaway.

Lake Arrowhead is a small 2 acre lake and not suitable for motorized boats. Campers who bring non-motorized boats, such as kayaks or canoes are welcome to use them on Lake Arrowhead but please do not fish from boats in Lake Arrowhead- shore fishing only.
