Spring weekends are prime time to trade bustling city life for hoodies by the campfire—and this season, camping is easier on your wallet. Think of Lake Arrowhead Campground in spring as the VIP hour before the summer show: lighter crowds, fewer mosquitoes, and lower cost (or even FREE) campsites on certain weekends.

COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP

• FREE camping for Volunteers! Join us for a few hours assisting those in the community who need help cleaning up their yards.

• We’ll provide some rakes, but we’d appreciate anyone who could bring their own rakes, gloves, tarps, and pick-up trucks.

• Free lunch & prize drawing Saturday afternoon.

• Chilly Challenge- anyone interested can take a frosty dip in the lake!

HONOR OUR HEROES

Notes: All Campsites are booked in 2026. We do have cabins available, but they are not eligible for the discount.  New Bookings for Honor Our Heroes 2027 begins on May 15, 2026.

• Free camping for veterans and members of the Armed Forces, as well as policemen, firefighters, EMS, healthcare workers, and teachers. If you are eligible for free camping, please call us to get your discount.

• Camouflage Tie Dye- you can buy a shirt from us for a nominal fee, or bring your own clothing.

• Meet a Real-Life Hero

• Operation Gratitude Collection Drive- we will collect specific items and make thank you cards for care packages that are sent to express support for Heroes serving overseas and here at home. Please see our website for more info.

• Free on-site trailer storage if you are also camping on Memorial Day Weekend. (Fee for electricity during storage.)

• Pay half price when you reserve two or more sites for the weekend! Please call us to get your discount.

• Game Show Carnival- Everyone has a chance to be in some of their favorite game shows and try to win points for the Redemption Center!

• Guess the Retail Price- Adults and teens, come on down and you might win a spot as a contestant! Try to guess the retail price of merchandise, and meet our wacky challenges to win some prizes!

• Cash Cart- If you’re lucky enough to be offered a ride in our Cash Cart, you can win $ by answering trivia questions!
