There will be 2 Awards given in the Chili Cook-Off. 50% of all money raised goes to the Marquette County Food Bank. We will split the remaining 50% between 2 prizes.

Rules
1. Eligibility and Entry

Participants: Open to all individuals or teams, and more than one entry is allowed.

Entry Fee: $20 per entry.

Registration: All participants must register in person by Friday at 5:30pm.
2. Chili Requirements
-
Ingredients: Chili must be homemade. Any type of meat, beans, vegetables, or spices can be used. Any cooking method can be used, including grills, pots, crockpots, instant pots, etc.

Quantity: Each entry must prepare a minimum of 6 quarts of chili. Some will be used for the competition, and some will be sold as part of the loaded Baked Potato Bar to raise money for the food bank.

Preparation: No pre-packaged or canned chili is allowed.

Safety: Participants must follow food safety guidelines. Proper storage and handling of ingredients are required.
3. Chili Turn-In

Timing: Chili can be dropped off in the white tent between 5:00 and 5:30pm.

Containers: Please drop off chili in a semi insulated container, such as a crock pot or instant pot. We cannot guarantee that we can provide electricity for warming. Containers will be available for pick-up at 7pm.
5. People's Choice Award

Voting: Voters will be given voting tokens with a $10 cash donation to the food bank. They can use these tokens to vote for their favorite chili.

Collection: Voting will close at 6:30pm. Tokens will be collected and counted to determine the People's Choice winner.
6. Winners

Winners will be announced at the award ceremony at 7pm on September 6th.
Note: This is not a KCBS Competition, and will not be using KCBS Rules.
