April 25-27   Helper’s Weekend

We’ll put together a group to rake leaves on Saturday- join us and your stay is free! Later that night each family brings a pot of chili for our chili supper; don’t worry, we’ll provide the crackers and beverages, and even dessert!

 

May

May 2-4 Cinco de Mayo

Join us for a spring fiesta! We'll have an outdoor movie, as well as our first craft of the season. Join us Saturday afternoon to take a swing at a piñata full of candy!

May 9-11 Mom’s Day

Kids, come to crafts on Saturday and make a present for Mom. Moms and daughters- join us for our mother-daughter look-a-like contest and you could win a great prize! On Sunday morning come to our breakfast; we’ll do the cooking so Mom won’t have to. Small fee charged for breakfast- though, of course, Moms and helpers eat free.

May 16- 18 Video Game Tournament & Bring-A-Friend Weekend & Memorial Day Special

Reserve two or more sites for the weekend and camp two nights for the price of one. Join us on Saturday for our video game blowout! You can play some of the hottest games on our giant screen, and you could win some amazing prizes! If you are returning again on Memorial Day Weekend, leave your trailer on site during the week for free! There’s a small fee for electricity during storage.

May 23-26 Memorial Day & 
Time Warp Weekend

This weekend we're gonna travel back in time! We'll go back to the days of yore with our Search for the Lake Arrowhead Grail, and you could strike gold at our Gold Rush Bingo! Slow down and enjoy- just like the good ol' days- with our horseshoe tournament and our campground-wide flea market; you could make a quick penny if you want to set up a stand and sell some of that clutter for cash! We'll also fast forward to the present when we have musical entertainment, as well as our annual Mini Grand Prix race. Bring your own matchbox car (2 oz. maximum weight) for the race or borrow one of our extra cars. We’ll also have a fishing comedy show, and a fishing contest with prizes awarded for largest fish by category. Three night minimum reservation this weekend.

June

May 30 - June 1 Pirates Weekend

Ahoy me Mateys, there be trouble a-brewin! Join us as we celebrate those scurvy sea dogs of yore. We’ll be making a nautical craft that will shiver your timbers. We'll also be playing a giant pirate board game where people get to be the life-sized game pieces! Check out our swashbuckling workshop, where we'll teach you how stage performers sword fight!

 

 

June 6-8 Around the World Weekend & Seasonal Party

Join us Saturday morning when we make an international craft. Join us for some great games Saturday afternoon, and in the evening, we'll be at Lakeside Campground where we’ll host a steak fry for all our seasonals from both parks. Seasonals, please sign up at least a week ahead of time. A fee is charged for the steak and each family brings a dish to pass. Afterwards, join us in the Pavilion for our drumming workshop. Kids, here's your chance to play drums from all over the world, and then you can show off your new percussion skills in a procession around the campground!

June 13-15 Dad’s Day

Kids make Dad a present Saturday morning at crafts. Then take him out on the water on our champagne pontoon boat cruise. Small fee is charged for the boat ride. On Saturday fathers and kids will compete as teams in our wacky “Daddy Dearest” Pageant. Sunday morning we’ll serve breakfast- fathers and servers get a free breakfast. Small fee charged for others, unless Dad sinks a putt--then the whole family eats for free!

June 20-22 Country Western Weekend

Stop by to say howdy and stick around for some old-fashioned, home-style fun. We’ll make a country craft Saturday morning, and play some down-home country games in the afternoon. Don’t forget to join us on Saturday evening for our third annual Lake Arrowhead Country Western Idol competition. Whether your singing or spectating, it’s sure to be a bushel of fun!

June 27-29 Death By Chocolate

You won't want to miss this yummy weekend at Lake Arrowhead- where we invite you to come and play with your food! First we’ll make a tasty craft, and then we’ll play some wild chocolate games- come prepared to get really messy! Parents, make sure to bring your camera for this one. Saturday evening we'll kick back and watch a movie while snacking on free goodies dipped in our chocolate fountain! Also, join us on Sunday for our sundae feast; pay one small entrance fee, and it’s all-you-can-eat ice cream sundaes for one hour.

4th of July  

Come celebrate our Independence Day the Lake Arrowhead way! On Friday we'll be tie-dying clothing- you can buy a shirt from us in the store for a nominal fee, or bring your own 100% cotton pre-washed clothing. In the evening we'll play some brown bag bingo; to play, bring a small prize in a brown paper bag. We'll make a patriotic craft and have our annual golf cart and bike parade. Make sure you check out our musical entertainment Saturday evening. Just keep in mind that we have a three night minimum over this time.

Christmas in July  

Deck the halls--and your campsite--because Santa’s back in town! Kids, come visit Santa on Saturday to tell him what you want for Christmas. He’ll make sure you get a goodie bag, and who knows, you could win a door prize! We’ll also have prizes for the best decorated sites. We’ll make a Christmas craft Saturday morning, and Sunday afternoon make sure to join us for all-you-can-eat sundaes for a small fee.

Tropical Paradise Olympics  

Aloha and welcome to our annual Olympic games- this year with a tropical island theme! We’ll get down and hula- but prepare for some stiff competition! Gather your team, because on Saturday afternoon the games will begin! Saturday evening, learn how to hula when we host a dance workshop, taught by authentic Polynesian dancers. This will be fun for all ages; come to dance or to watch the dancers perform!

July 25-27 Mardi Gras

Break out the beads and masks- it’s time to celebrate! Make sure you come early because you won't want to miss our crafts Friday evening. Saturday morning we’ll be tie-dying t-shirts; bring your own pre-washed cotton clothing or buy one in the store. On Saturday afternoon we’ll have a parade with bikes, floats, and golf carts; enjoy the free decorations and face painting.

August 1-3 Once-Upon-A-Time Weekend & Lakeside’s Corn Boil

Do you believe in magic? This weekend may change your mind… Lots of goodies in store for you, including a magical craft, and a giant Disney board game, in which people get to be the game pieces! Make the ice cream vanish into thin air at our sundae feast on Sunday, where you get all-you-can-eat sundaes for an hour for a small fee. Saturday afternoon we’ll host a corn boil down at Lakeside exclusively for our seasonals.

August 8-10 Corn Boil

This Corn Boil is open to both seasonals and overnighters. We’ll have free buttered sweet corn and old-fashioned games like egg toss, fishpond, and ski races. Fun for all ages. Make sure you reserve early; this is a popular weekend. No crafts this Saturday.

August 15-17 Poker Scavenger Hunt

A favorite family event. Draw a free card on Friday night and on Saturday morning the scavenging begins! Figure out the answer to the clue, then bring in an item representative of the answer to draw another card. Try to get the best poker hand over the course of the weekend to win fabulous prizes.

 

August 22-24 Back-to-School & Poker Tournament & Labor Day Special

Let us help you get accustomed to school-time again by starting “classes” early. Check out our Art Class Saturday morning and then head over to Science Class, which will feature our annual animal races. And don't worry, we'll have some fun for the adults, too, with a Texas Hold 'Em tournament on Saturday night. Free on-site trailer storage if you are also camping here on Labor Day weekend. Fee for electricity during storage.

August 29- September 1 Labor Day &
Superhero Weekend

Don't miss this chance to show us your super powers! We'll be hosting some super games, including a giant board game. You'll also get a chance to be a superhero yourself by helping other people. Make some s'mores or enter our fishing contest, and all the money raised will go to the American Cancer Society. On Sunday afternoon we’ll host a flea market right here in the campground. Clean out those closets or sell your craft items. We’ll have musical entertainment this weekend. Three night minimum reservation required.

September 5-7 Autumn Harvest Festival & Half Price Weekend

This weekend we'll feature an awesome autumn craft, and we'll get together for some finger lickin' fun while we make caramel apples! Make sure to head up to the store in the evening for our Moonlight Madness Sale. You won't want to miss our lowest prices of the season on store merchandise!  Also, pay for Friday night and Saturday night is FREE!

September 12-14 Halloween I

Be ready for lots of tricks and treats this weekend! Check out our free haunted house- it’s sure to be a scream! We’ll also make a creepy craft Saturday morning. Bring your candy because the little ghouls will be trick-or-treating through the park Saturday evening. And dig through your basement for all your best Halloween gear, because we’re going to give prizes to the best costumes and the best decorated sites. 

 

 

September 19-21 Halloween II

Don't worry if you missed our first Halloween- we've still got lots of tricks and treats for you! Bring all your Halloween décor; best decorations win prizes! Be prepared to be scared as you go through our haunted house. Bring all the little ghosts and goblins to make a creepy craft Saturday morning, and dress them up in their scariest for our costume party in the evening. And don't forget to bring candy for all the little tricksters as they go around the park Saturday evening!

 

 

September 26-28 Halloween III

Halloween is so frightfully fun, we can't help but do it a third time! Our haunted house will still be full of its usual ghouls and fiends, and check out crafts class Saturday morning, where we’ll be making a creepy craft. Come to our Halloween party Saturday night where we’ll award prizes for the best costumes, and then afterwards send the little goblins out for some trick-or-treating. Don’t forget to bring your decorations; we’ll be giving prizes out for the best decorated sites!

 

 

 

 

October

OFF SEASON CAMPING RATES START
October 5-7 Seasonal Party & Camper Appreciation Weekend

The leaves are turning, there’s a nip in the air… Sadly, another summer is coming to an end. Thank you for camping with us, and we’d like to show our appreciation. Just bring in a receipt to show that you’ve camped with us in 2007, and you can camp for two nights for the price of one. Seasonals, please sign up at least one weekend ahead of time for the party. A small fee is charged for the steak, and please bring a dish to pass.
